Living With My Daughter Is Like Living With A Pregnant Woman
Thaïs came to me yesterday, a very serious look on her face, “Mummy, I feel like eating pizza.”
“Okay,” I said. “What toppings would you like?”
“Toppings? Oh, only cheese and chicken. And maybe that round thing.”
‘That round thing‘ she’s referring to, is pepperoni. I knew I was completely out of pepperoni so I said, “Alright. Give me a couple of days to get all the ingredients together.”
“What? You need days? By the time you do all that, I won’t feel like eating it!”

Driving Through Neighbouring Villages
Just got back from a picturesque drive through the villages of Socorro, Salvador-do-Mundo, and Britona. Having lived in Goa so many years, I’m quite ashamed to say that never before have I made it to the beautiful church of Our Lady of the Rock of France – Nossa Senhora Penha De Franca – situated right on the waterfront. This time, though, I was determined to stop and take a look. Needless to say, I got lost along the way, but that only made the drive more interesting
